Default in car fan switch question.

hi guys ive just set up some switches in my cossie, but for some reason i cant wire up the fan to work on a switch an ideas??? i done it on my rs turbo a few years back that was easy but cant get my head around it on my cossie, cheeRS

I can't understand why you would want to? Does the original fan switch not work?
