take the anti roll bar off, that would give you more room,

you can just drop the anti roll bar mounts, that will give you a bit more room.

you have to get the car as high as you can too as you have to twist and turn the downpipe under the car to get it to fit in there.

have you put a 2wd ex manifold onto your car as i put a 1-2 inch extention in my downpipe to give me a bit more clearance, hope you will be ok.

it is a case of twisting and turning, it's only 4 bolts to drop the anti roll bar

i done a gearbox the other week on a 4x4 saph and i had it jacked up maximum height on axle stands, about 10 inches high guessing, i did drop the anti roll bar and it made it easier for me, just drop it from the mounts and leave it bolted to the tca's

when putting the anti roll bar mounts back on, jack the anti roll bar up in the middle so you can line up the 2 brackets with the holes in the chassis,a lot easier that way.

oh, when taking the mounts off, undo a bit of each bolt at a time or it will be hard to get a socket on the other bolt, if you take one fully out,the arb will push the bracket down and you cannot get at it.
