Can you be done for speeding if you were accelerating to overtake slower traffic at the time??

 

speeding is speeding.the camera doesnt lie. assuming it was a camera? it would be a right coont of a copper that would do you when overtaking?

 

yeah camera! Been to the coast, followed the same vehicles for 50 odd miles at 45-50 mph.

The first real opportunity I had to pass, a very, very long straight where you can see for miles.

I got halfway alongside the 3 vehicles and saw the camera van sitting in the gateway?

Just had to smile sweetly.

I may not have been going too fast just have to wait for the postman.

 

i just got a flash and a wave to slow down from a copper behind me when i overtook 2tractors,i was in a 30 but must have hit 50mph,i was in cossy,no seatbelt and illegal numberplates so i was grateful for that and not 3 fines

 

Might not havebeen too bad if i had been stopped. At least you can talk to a policeman.

A picture is a picture though and no one will be interested if it comes through 10 days down the line.
