nope got mates with tvrs, scoobs, cossies, skylines. i looked ok when i had an evo but now the the tdci astra the mrs car is quicker than mine

Outside of this Forum most of my friends are over 65 & they aint interested in cars let alone fast ones. One has an MGF & its way too fast for him he never goes beyond 5k, i once showed him what it could do, it shortened his life by 5 years im sure . Afraid having a fast car aint cool or clever in these circles 
. Never take my Cossie to rs meets etc. so my car never gets compared, better that way.

Shitt! one friend of mine got a mk1 focus wrc (Rallycross spec) New Engine is in the making by mr Hafsengen these days 
One got a Texaco 550bhp rs500 replica (first texaco repilca in norway)
even the Lambo orange Gatebil Supra (700bhp) is owned by a friend of mine!!
So the answer is no, I do not have the fastest car around here ;p

If we're going on manufacturer figures, then only just. I've got a 330Ci (231Bhp), One friend has an ST220 (222Bhp), my girlfriend has a Cooper S (170Bhp) -the rest of them drive regular cooking model cars - One drives an 05 Astra diesel and the other has a 96 Escort Estate.
(edited to add, no mine's not the quickest or most poweful, thanks to an M5 driver being one of my mates, but it's the one I like best out of all close mates cars)

Interesting you mention about manufacturer figures, maybe you are thinking the same as I am. My ST220 made 233bhp (not modded yet), indeed everyone says they are under-quoted...and there were no 330s there on that day but I've known one make 229 previously (I think official is 228bhp, =231ps), that was on the same dyno rig with the same tester at similar temperature...

depends who yu call mates and people you just get on with.
i know a fair few people that have far faster cars than me, but wouldnt necessarily call them mates.
out of my mates, one has a pug 205 on tbs, one has a rather fast but dead rs turbo, one has a brand spanker civic type r, one has a lotus exige etc etc and our only runner is a 406 estate at 135bhp lol, oh and my van that spunks out a whopping 90 bhp lol but is driven like i stole it lol
but when the 3dr finnaly runs, im hoping for around 400bhp, so yes, id like to think i have the fastest lol

That's why I said close mates because everyone is bound to know at least someone with a nuts car. I know someone with a 450bhp 4x4 Golf but isn't really a close friend at all, just someone I know.

ive got the quickest of my mates, i got a 1.4 escort () other mates got a 1.something ka and he drives like a girl, (i dont blame him hes just passed

anothers got a 1.2 corsa which is close to mine
only one that is quicker is a 2.0l diesel vectra but that dont count its his mums

TBH my car isn't packing any real power, but I think from the so called close friends I have the second fastest. Usually my friends drive with the usual japcrap 1.5 Civics etc. but one of them bought a Clio 1.8 16V last summer.
It sounds like crap (overly massive exhaust for that engine) but it feels quite fast at least when I was at the passenger seat.
Tho I have the RWD one so I have more fun behind the wheel.
This may change in the near future cause one of my friends have been talking about getting a rapid SX series Nissan.

My two best mates have a mr2 turbo, with fresh from the rolling road 271hp, and a 306gti6 at 180hp and iv got rsturbo at 191hp.
on our last track day on a airfield, i beat both of them on the bigger track, but was beaten by the 306 on the smaller track, but he did beat everything that day, this may have something to do with that he has spent bout 3g on handling and running toyo r888 on a super hot day.
The best thing is tho, where ever we go, my car gets all the looks and interest!

Mate, you and Elwood are talking about having the most powerful but the original question is do you drive the fastest. So with those two, it depends on if it's 0-60 (the 330) or if it's lets say 0-120 or 60-120 then for those the ST220 would take it for sure with its better top end surge.

when i had my old corsa turbo i did, but i had to sell that, now my m8s are building a B16 turbo civic and a 1.5 turbo glanza both for over 300bhp, so i need to get myself summit small with 400ponies!!!!
