AVA built a mad green thing that made 285 at the wheels. its power curve held right up to HIGH rpm. It would have made WAY more than 140mph if any of the owners had ever managed to get it timed.

i was going to build a 16v zetec but changed my mind i`ve already got an excellent cvh head from pumaracing using 45mm inlet valves and allthe zvh that i have seen the ones that show power high up the rev range got tubular manifolds and different inlets so i am building a zvh with steel rods je pistons just a slight over bore . next week i`m having my gt25/40r dual ball bearing turbo fitted using a tubular manifold by simpsons exhausts zoo motorsport are doing me a inlet manifold, custom newman cam s8 ecu plus 120 shot of nos hopefully all will be done by the first rwyb fingers crossed this should show peak power late on

 

Gogs still owns the shed james, just hasnt bothered chasing it up to get it finnished

yes thats another thing no point in using a gearbox with a 3.82 final drive on a zvh

 

i was running direct port but because i had powerengineering 1.9cvh i was limited to 40shot but will be have 120 shot plus progessive controller the gt turbo is huge compared to my t34 just got fed up with the lag t34 0.63= lag monster when not driven car for a while the lag is more noticable

 

brom at zoo motorsport is sorting out an inlet manifold with the foggers on top on no room on top on the efi manifold so had to fit themon the bottom pain when i had to change the jets had to remove the manifold

 

Unless you have BIG money to spend, the Zetec bottom end (either ZVH or 16v) won't produce good top speed as they just dont seem to want to rev. They are very good for sprint times though.

 

cossie L8 management never had a power run with the nos engine blew up before i got the chance the car made on paul hills rollers 296bhp 294 torque at 23 psi the cylinderhead made all the difference on my old head at the same boost but with a stage three turbo 248 bhp 257 torque so i want to try this head with a mad cam profile and more boost i had a feature in performanceford october the one with soys car on the front cover

Mines done about 24mph so far.

As said above, ZVH are great at sprint but really need some work to get a good top speed.

Yes, that was Simon's (sas). Is a fast car and one of the very few ZVH's that have done anything top speed-wise.
