Register your number with the TPS and you wont get any more calls, pretty sure it's free to do

We must get around 8-10 calls a day offering all sorts of crap. Its REALLY annoying when we are busy in the workshop.

Tony,

Just change your main line to your other premium rate advice line then you will earn money from all calls

Besides, I thought you had shut the business and the for sale sign was up ????

You're not able to register a business line unfortunately. I've tried ours at work as this stuff really gets me revved up we get charity in the morning and sales in the afternoon! Most of the charity is a scam the 2 favourites being a police or fire service publication asking if they can rely on our support again this year. They hope that you'll say yes then they bill you for a false ad closely followed by a debt recovery letter.
Get about 2 calls a day wasting my time boils my piss as its usually when i'm in the middle of something.

As said above, register with the Telephone Preference Scheme, also the Fax Preference Scheme (if you have a Fax that is). Does work. At least you can threaten them with legal action then as I think it is illegal for them to call you once your TPS registration is active.

TPS has to be registered every year
in order to threaten them with legal action you have still had to answer the phone to the coonts
