st24 drivers seat problem

Hi,i have a problem with the drivers seat (electric),the motor runs when you press the button but the seat does not raise or lower ,any ideas for a fix ?

I suspect you'll have to get the seat completely out to look at this properly.
I tried to look into it with the seat in the car and could see naff all.

the actual teeth on the screw height adjuster are plastic and have no doubt sheared, off to the scrappy for you the glx models upwards had leccy seats
very common problem, specially if your a fatty!!

just had the seat out and the whole motor unit off and yep !!half the teeth missing !
(prev owner must have been a fat git,cos i'm only a racing snake)
