A friend at work wants to know if this is expensive to fix? its knocking when he turns on full lock he said.

Is it something that NEEDS to be done before it gets worse or is it ok?

Whats an MB6?

All the civics I've had have had similar problems. And you need to buy a complete driveshaft, so just wait til its proper fooked.

Mb6 meaning its the 5door one with the 1.8 vtech, the engine code is mb6 i believe.

Its not the engine code, but it may be the body code. Not sure what the 5 door one is.

Yeh not really worth bothering unless it bugs you too much.

Iit'll be the outer cv joint and i would get it done cos when it lets go he'll be fucked. Its Ł140 from honda

Yeah thats parts only! Couple of hours labour aswell i expect. Probably the first problem its ever had though!

Actually............................. yes it is, hes had it 3 years aswell and gets driven everyday.

Agreed. I've owned 12 different hondas. All performance variants, and all get driven hard. In ten years, i've replaced a rear caliper and a windscreen. And thats it. Everything else has either been modifications that weren;t needed, or consumables.
