As title, my handbrake light has decided to stay lit constantly.

What should I be checking?

Can I get to it without lifting the carpet?

Where exactly is it? And can it be fixed, or does it need to be replaced?

mine used to do that , was sumat to do with the abs

check fluid first then check switch under handbrake

if you've got a handbrake surround or gaitor, remove it. peel back the carpet and you'll see a black clip on a green and brown wire (on the drivers side) you'll probably need a small screwdriver to do it but try and push it back on if its loose, mine was intermittent for ages, then NMS fixed it
