Yes facts in how it explodedand poor gt35 installation...but the map part is hear say...as i keep saying I refuse to beleive paul would have just bunged a wrc restricted map in there FFS thats quite a low blow TBH.

Two escort cossies both mapped by the same tuner (rival of EA) with the exact same spec 330bhp, on the road the cars were exactly matched. Both went to a RR day at Engine Advantages. EA knew that the 1st escort was mapped by a rival company but believed they had mapped the 2nd for the previous owner, they didn't know the current keepet had changed the chip. The 1st escort produces under 300 bhp while the 2nd gets approximately 350 bhp, now what the fucks that about?????

hey Ian, better luck at Harveys, sorry to hear all this, I know how much you (and others on here)love your car(the best Ford ever?) and I also know that you don't rag it! but things could be worse.I dread to think how much it owes you now?put a piccy up so some others can see it in all it's glory!

Really sorry to read that Ian.
I think after having the first failure repaired by them, you are now more than entitled to take the car away to a different tuner fot diagnosis and to pursue suitable compensation via the legal system. That's what I'd do anyway...

The engine i had built by Harvey and dyno'd by Harvey and Ahmed @ 518 hp on a T4 died shortly after its new owner had a GT35 fitted at EA. if my memory serves me right! I wonder if instead of that being an inherant problem with Harveys engine build (bent con-rod apparently ) as i was told, if this was done in a similar way hence its demise

Martin has done a huge amount of development work on Cossie external wastegates - in his own time and at his own expense, rather than crossing his fingers with customer engines.
As much of this little known work was done at SCS with Harvey at the dyno controls, I'm sure you'll end up with the correct result at the end of all this.

ian, thanks for putting everyone straight with the events that led to you taking your car to harveys. i,me sure you wont be dissapointed with the results. you must have the patience of a saint to have put up with all that you have had to endure.

Best of luck with the car at Harvey's - I'm in total agreement with tonyk on this one. You can't be short of cash, but litigate over money and not principle.

Because Steve say that many others say its a crap map...as a friend of Paul i'd like to see the shocking map as he is being slandered over the net...if its private keep it private..but you can see quite clearly it aint!

I have just read your lengthy account of the events (didn't have time earlier) and all i can say is i am disgusted at the way you have been treated! You must have the patience of a saint to have put up with that lot as i know i wouldn't have! If i were you i would at very least take him to the cleaners!!!
