Default Big wing sump or dry sump ? ?

Currently have a big wing sump with gated baffle for the Ka, but is it worth dry sumping it ?

Anyone got any experience of dry sumped YBs ?

Thanks i advance

imo, a decent baffeled bigwing is sufficient, dry sump is going to be better, but big wing baffeld if all andy g's car have ran, martin hadlands ect they dont have problems

I seem to remember somebody saying that dry sump setup isnt ideal on a YB....i think it was probably Karl or Martin from memory.

i just dont see the entirety of dry sump, i know so many people who run rally cars without dry sump on some very fast cars, wrc's etc, so unless your pulling mega revs, but even then i just dont see the need, or the extra weight

Hi, I blew up my 2 litre zetec as it does not like much oil, just over minimum left in engine after each stage at croft this june, it just throws it into my catch tank.
i have no return feed to the sump, would this solve me killing bottom ends on the track or do i need a bafflelled sump?? dry sumps are very expensive??
Any advice out there??
