Tracing your family...
Has anyone or is anyone currently trying to trace their family tree at all?
Im currently just back to around 1770 on my mothers side and am now coming brick walls
How is anyone else getting around this etc?
I sue 3 o4 differnet sites and am lucky that my mums side is from scotland so get instant access to certificates etc for weddings, deaths and births.
Doing the uk side of things isnt so easy,
anyone got any tips?

1770? Wow Fair play
My mum asked me the same thing and wanted to see what we could find out about our family (for my grandad). There is software you can get thats supposed to "help" but not sure other than that.

My old man has been doing this the past 2 years, he's back to 1803. He has some parts dating to late 1600's but can't confirm it.
If i get a chance later i'll ask and try and find out how he done it.
I'm ashamed to say my Fathers family were from London
