Never liked Randall.

Theres a lot of shite DJ's out there - the biggest crimes to mixing are DJ Vibes ("Shame Lavan ") , Dougal, Stompy, Darren J, Jack Frost - How they ever got anywhere I do not know!

Its a shame to look at underated DJ's - Stu Allen a prime example - he could be up there with Carl Cox!

You DJ dudes got any long mixes with Happy Hardcore etc... or stuff with fast MC'ing in... (not really up with all this music lark but had some of this kind of stuff on tape years back but all been lost now!). ANy links would be great

coxy back in his kinetic and total kaos days was a minter so (tape rips will come now promted) always listened to him since in a way. FACT was awesome also imo

rider does a have large and sometimes unwarranted following but none the less has been a pioneer of the scene for time so i cant see it changing. crowds always got fucking nuts when he walks up to the booth. rap once said about him that he was one of the best dj's ever he pulled some faulty phones out the decks and played a full set mixing off the monitors alone, bet it sounded wank myself

again fabio has much the same following as rider, always been hand in hand, always played v similar styles. used to look cool with his natty dreads

always been a firm believer that finn is the godfather myself

I was waiting for the Grooverider pioneered the scene bullshit.
Thats the biggest load of bollocks ever!
I could easily name a good 10 or more djs that were in the scene when he was, and still are now. They have all easily been as influential as him too.
Anyone who reads into any truth of that shite has a very narrow minded view!

'gods'

Carl Cox used to be quality untill the music evolved and he went in a different direction than most of the original people of the scene

As for DnB (my only forte) you have to involve Adam F, DJ SS, Andy C, rider and fabio as part of the mainstream that helped it grow

there is no 'god'

LTJ Bukem used to use beat counters

I know what ya saying scratching died alot in hardware when it kinda evolved in bum and face and got all fast n turned into jitter music bar DJ hype who scratched liked he was playing with his fly zip seems to have died out alot

I like the way Dj craze has crossed the bounderies between Turntabilism n DnB he is a legend his skills are just phenominal

blah blah blah ur a homo

beat counters is like traction control for homo's

martyn I dont do and have done D&B music for ages but mixing is easy for anyone with a musical ear i.e can count beats fade in fade out bla blah playing a crowd and taking them on a journey knowing what to play when is hard BUT planning a set like for example DJ craze in the DMC Championships well thats the pinical of Dj'ing period IMO The technical skills of people like Prime Cuts, Vegas, RocRaida, Craze, Mix master mike etc are far greater than fecking Pete Tong, Bukem or Hype...

What i meant was, ive never seen or heard of bukem using beat counters!
Ive stood next to him (literally 2 foot away) at Milwaukees and never seen him use anything like it lol
What he did used to use was a headphone amp that plugged in seperatly, maybe it was that that you saw!
