Focus MK1 air con not working
I've got a Mk1 Focus here. If I turn on the aircon it doesn't work at all. The light comes on but the fan doesn't. So for me it looks like an electrical problem. Also, the compressor and dryer have been renewed half a year ago and it's properly filled aswell. Any ideas?

Testing the future
are you sure it's properly filled, or just assuming it to be as it was done 'recently'?
why was the compressor replaced? that's an orifice tube system iirc isn't it? if so, was the orifice tube cleaned when the compressor was replaced?
first thing to check is to manually apply 12v to the compressor clutch briefly (so as not to build up too much pressure) and see if it operates.
not sure on those if the condensor fan should run all the time when a/c on in low speed and then higher speed when triggered by pressure.

The compressor was replaced half a year ago and the A/C worked fine afterwards. Don't know if they've cleaned the orifice tube but it was a Ford dealership who did the job.
Anyways, I had the car sitting on my drive for 2 weeks as my brothers supposed to buy it from me. Before I put it there it worked fine, now it isn't working anymore at all.
I think there's lots of pressure in the system still (yeah i was brave enough to depress the filler valve to find out ). The compressor should at least start and switch of after a few seconds. But I guess I better get it checked properly before going any further.
Just wanted to know if there's any common electrical failures on the Focus (broken relais, water in multiplugs, etc.)
