I like Phil & loved his contribution to the site but if he was allowed back, within a month he would revert to type & be banned again. He cant help that, he admits he has issues. Go to Escort Cosworth Forum & Phil still has the everybody hates me complex, which im sure is at the root of his problems. I believe this website now facilitates peoples power trips more than spirited discussion and honest banter. And of course this website is now about making money and getting as many members in as possible. Banter and making money do not go hand in hand

Having run a few forums in my time it annoys me how everybody on the Internet knows better and think there opinion stands up more than someone elses.

It's really not a big deal that someone got banned, if he wanted to get involved again why doesn't he sign up with a legitimate account, offer input into things whilst not revealing his identity. That would be proof he had changed.

Another forum isn't a bad idea though, I know there are several specialized ones for the RS and such but not simply just Ford. This one has become more German, Japanese, french based and there are fewer people with a genuine interest in Fords. They did set up Another Ford Forum but it was all the same people modding and posting on it, so it was Passionford with a different homepage. On topic though, Bring back Phil, there are a lot of people on here much worse/more offensive than him, he was a bit outrageous but always entertaining, if you don't like him, don't read his posts.

Things have changed and people have moved on since this place was created in 2003, but the vast majority of people still have a Passion for Fords.

Plus I like the fact there's other marques on here to read about too.

Phil was less bother and less offensive than some on here of late. I personally think he was amusing a lot of the time. Was always annoying when genuine discussion threads were turned to shit with people slagging him off, to which he retalliated then everyone would say he ruined them
