Wastegate Coins
Had a video featuring clips from totb from one of the ford magazines a few years ago... one of the cars on there made a noise which i think had something to do with the wastegate which sounded like a bandit dropping coins into the metal tray below??? never heard it since! , just wondered if anyone knew what kind of mod it was or what caused it... starting to think I imagined it after reading what I have just wrote

Compressor stall perhaps.
Chuck a induction kit on and remove/block your dumpvalve, that'll do the trick....although not to clever on certain turbo's and certain situations.

If you mean turbo chatter... it defo wasnt that, sounded like someone was throwing 100 coins down a metal tube. I will have to dig the dvd out if I dont get to the bottom of this.

Dont know mate, never heard anything like it since... must have been something to do with the turbo / wastegate... sounded just like a bandit dropping coins into a metal tray. probably was some kind of unique turbo chatter noise.

cant find the dvd either... must have lent it out to someone 
, It was free with one of the 2 ford magazines about 4 years ago, it was the dvd with a clip of a 1000 bhp skyline on a dyno spooling up 
, the clip im refering to was a part of the dvd where someone was taking their car round the handling circuit at ten of the best.
