Talking haha bought two fords in 1 day

Bought this yesterday , picked it up today , tock pics on my iphone not the greatest quality .... the car has been sitting about doing nothing for a year , not been cleaned or anything ... will be atleast another 6 weeks til am out my cast....................

1st of all gaskets need done , leaking bad from sump gasket , get cylider head done while there (next few weeks)

the rest of this when out me cast..............

respray , pearl white with new rs graphics

is this the original steering wheel or should it be a 3 spoke design one?

cracked dash , prob get it floked , or retrimmed in leather as getting seats done need something done with the jersey sun hitting it all the time

pretty much thats it , in time for rsoc national day.....

not putting fog lights on or bumper black things on (great technical name for it)

AND TAKING THE PADDLE CLUTCH OUT ASAP....

Could the wheels on the Connect be Focus Mk1/1.5 wheels - normal ones are 15", ESP are 16"??

you could source a solid plastic dash for flocking, my stop issues with heat/sun - think they got fitted to basic models?

Looks a pretty clean car to be fair.

see http://www.capitalseating.co.uk/prod...e&rid=61&mid=2

for buying replacement bolster/padds for the seats, they come apart very easily and it makes a huge difference to get new foams in there, capital are very helpful and never had an issue with service.

Have heard of people putting the seat covers in a washing machine while they are off!

before you spend any money on it i'd bust out the screw driver and get poking at the floor, inner cills, outer cills, chassis legs, inner wings, arches etc etc etc

came from uk in 2002 ,

jersey weather good for it ,

have had someone , equipped with a screwdriver with backseats out , carpet lifted , boot inspected , innerwings , battery, sill`s ,around sunroof headlining the lot checked over for rust nothing found, not even dodgy repair... the only reason i bought it , would have walked away if found anything

had four owners inc myself

1.trader
2.guy for 4 years , done all the engine work set up to roughly 212 bhp
3. some kid at 18 got it( , and hammered the shit out it , bounced of limiter ech time i saw him driing it , abused it , kept braking down on him
4.bought it to fix and sell on , never got round to it
5. then me ....
