1990 H plate, Sierra Cosworth 4x4 running problem
Hello
I am posting on behalf of a friend here, he has a running issue with his 1990 4x4 Saph.
It runs fine when cold but when it is up to temerature it backfires and cuts out until the car is switched off again and restarted.
Any ideas what could be causing this?

It is the CPS I think.

coolant temp sender unit passenger side rear of the head colour is blue!

Cheers - He's gonna buy a sensor kit so I will do the whole lot for him. I did my 2wd sensors when I got it. Hopefully he gets it sorted!
