my g/friend parked outside her mates house in our car, the area was wardened by a private company as permits were required..

She forgot to put a permit on and got a ticket!!!! £70!!!!! Now to appeal it her mate has rung and told the company that she had borrowed our car as theres was in the garage having work done therefore she shouldnt have got a ticket outside her own home as they have a permit..
But the company want a copy of the permit - no problem but also an invoice to say where there vehicle was !

so does anyone know where i can get an invoice ? or make one up? please

but surely if u make an invoice up their likely to try and ring the place u said or go round there to verify the cars there?!

Unfortunatly most wardens/companys dont care as if u dont display its ur own fault, harsh but the way it works even with disabled badge holders!!

Was it on behalf of a Local Authority?

Or on private land eg, flats etc?

If it was on private land, ignore it, they will threaten all sorts of things but can't do anything about it legally.

Yeah it was private land... a private flats development! so annoying when she was only visiting her mate which shes done a 100's of times before
