Default Focus ABS Problem

Im just wanting to know if someone can help me with a 2003 1.6 focus rear ABS problem

Some guy fitted a new wheel bearing and rear drum to a friends car and ever since the ABS light has been on. When it was getting timing belt done at a mechanics i asked mechanic to get with computer to see which ABS sensor was showing the problem and the one thats not working is the rear one that the bearing was done on

Question is, does the focus ABS pick up on the bearing like my mondeo? Or is it like a cosworth that has some kind of teeth.

Reason im asking is if on a mondeo you put the bearing in the wrong way round the ABS doesnt work.

I checked a new wheel bearing in motorfactors and it doesnt seem to have the abs ring in it but not 100% sure if they list bearing for non abs focus.

The abs sensor itself is £120 so i want to be sure its that before buying a new one for him

Any help would be great

Thanks
