new house build, a few more piccs and a few more piccs
right a few on here wanted some updates on how i'm going with my new house down under so heres where i am at. so i don't know where i should post this so if mods want to move it so be it. anyway it has started at last i had a machine in today to level out the pad i had cut a while back and cut me a driveway down to my shed i orderd a tempory water tank for on site use mainly the plumber at the moment as he has to have water to do the test for council. so just a few piccs at the moment but i will update as it go's along. this should now take 16 weeks to build so fingers crossed all go's well.
this is what i started with a while back a 3.5 acre sloping block
not a small task but the machine driver was a good bloke
and this is what i ended up with
so house pad done i want a pad for the shed
just far enoughaway from the mrs lol, so while i had a machine in i thought i'd have a pond dug out for me dogs to play in
so that was it for a while due to lots of shite with council and planing the job stoped for a few months until we got over the planing issues. but one thing i was aloud to do was put a shed up so this was what i did
i turned up one friday afternoon to discover the concreater had been and made a start and i had a slad for the shed
this was the monday when i went back to have a look
tuesday woo hoo they are flying lol i am well pleased
and i picked the keys up on the thursday with instructions to leave it unlocked for the council inspection friday morning. from ordering it to it being all done and inspected it took 3 weeks foking fantastic and the fack they built the whole thing in a week including the concreate i was well happy. i now have a toy shed again hahahahahahaa.
so back to the house lol i got a call on friday to say all is good and they will be starting on monday and a machine will be here to level out the final cut on the pad for the piering to start tuesday. so off up there this morning to see what sort of machine was coming and to meet the site forman and get the gen on whats what and a time scale for the job.
this was what turned up
sets up his level and away he go's 1 hour later job done all nice and level being a cheeky fecker i asked where his next job was he replyed thats it for the day i havent got a lot on, so i agreed on $100 an hour and got him to drop a drive way down to my shed
bonus i now have the driveway cut and all done for $150, so thats it for today you are now up todate i will post piccs as it go's along each week' oh and before i forget one last piccy of my pond lol after seeing rods i want to do something with it other than just a whole in the ground. i have some lillys to pick up now it's settled and i have order a lorry load of rocks to place around and about it not to sure what i will do but heres a picc with water in it
so thats it for today any ideas on landscapeing would be good

Jeezo, what a price !!
And why the hell can't we get british workmen to work so fast and smoothly? Infact, I think "Extreme makeover, Home Edition" would have trouble keeping up!
Looks great tho,
