Do you beleive it has this???????..GT42 and 2.5bar looks like it could....and look ARP head stud/nut kit ..std crank ...std rear diff ....Wonder where the turbo hits full pressure though
Them Fixit gear kits...are they really a lifetime garantee job?

If its Fredriks, it actually has 734 benched bhp. And yes, believe it well enough, you would too if you saw it go...
Fixit is the best you can get for a standard mt75 for the 4x4. Incredible. Comes with lifetime guarantee, yes.

So around 690bhp @ the fly and around 590bhp @ the wheels (incar figures)
Surely this is a genuine 200mph car...although he needs to launch better as Kevin McScottishTightArseOnlyGot EyesForMenSharp is faster with less horses ...But it aint a diss as Kev is the king....BTW his secret is when at the start line he pretends he is at a bar and its his round..ROFL

Although impressed by the car, I thought the feature didn't do it justice - not enough detailed pictures of the engine bay! Not so sure on those figures running in the car with a standard rear diff and mildly modded front diff. And a standard crank? Still a very nice car though!!!

I havent read the article myself but according to others its a translation of a swedish article. (Fast Ford is owned by the same publisher as that swedish mag)
Incar video clip of the 10.57s run, right click + Save as 4.6Mb
Outside footage of same run.5Mb
Edited as the film clips was from two different runs.

A dogbox uses a different variant of gear engagement, dogs, instead of baulk rings(I think you call it that anyway) which is present on standard gearboxes. These can take shitloads of torture, given proper usage. Besides this, gear switching is performed without using clutch. Just pump it in as the girl said

Smells a bit whiffy i reckon, standard crank and diffs etc... like most stuff featured in FF I don't believe what I read.
Also, as said - Kev's Escort has gone faster with an apparent (if you believe the feature) huge defecit in power... don't add up.

Misinterpretations...
Power output has not much to do with final time actually. Final time has a lot to do with chassis and grip overall though. By comparing final speed though you may get a clue of the power. Fredrik runs 220 km/h on a regular basis, kev?

I thought the article was shocking!
Might as well have been a stage 3 car for all the depth of information they gave.
Car also may well have that power, but if he's got all that power and std diffs, then he needs his head testing.

what a total b#ll sh#t because it is in the FF and not in the PF.
it was a nice story in the FF end of story. they could put more technical in the story but they didnt.
its a fast escos......but on standard diffs.....well it will break a lot then.

DEYTUKURJERBS
Not disputing Kevs time or anything, but we always judge cars against his, and 142mph terminal is incredibly high IMO, thing martin H's highest terminal is 136mph and Rods with 700odd is just under 138mph, theres a lot of variables.
Kevs car has the box of gods, and a good gearbox like his is worth about a second on the 1/4mile over a syncro box easy...
I dont see why the std crank should be disputed as it not being 700, has anyone broke a std crank on a tuned road car that WASNT an oil/det issue? No didnt think so
And this car has been dynod at that number, its no estimate like most. And 2.5bar on a GT42 is normal/low, i guess its one of the smaller versions of the GT42 (ie not the 96lb/min comp flow one) as 2.5bar then would be closer to 1000bhp unless there was a serious restriction thas making the boost so high...
What exhaust is it running? If itsa 3" like most cossie aftermarket ones itl be a serious restriction with the engine in car...
