Default vRS or VR6 ?

i have a fairly mint '96 vr6 with 73k on the clock but have seen a 51 plate octavia vrs for sale locally cheap and i'm undecided what to do.

Keep with my old mk3 golf with 73k miles or jump ship and get the vrs with 78k miles and full skoda histroy.

It's a local car and looks really tidy in the pictures, the only prob is it's YELLOW!!! sometimes i think yeah that looks ace, others i think thats a car that says look at me - which i don't reckon i'd like!

what would you do?

Seeing as it's Yellow buy the vRS and sell it onto AJ for a profit ?

Tough call that as it goes - not sure where I'd place my chips !

I'd say have a drive and see what you think. Tough choice but I reckon if it was me I'd be SLIGHTLY leaning towards keeping the VR6 but go take a test drive.

A 51 plate yellow Vrs or a shonky old golf, hmm tough choice.

Personally i love Vrs and being in yellow seals the deal even more for me!

i was hoping you'd see this tiff.

the only thing that casts a doubt in my mind is the engine/turbo blowing up. i know the 1.8t is a proven lump, but theres alot on ebay with turbo failure/engine failure under 100k miles.

something came up so not actually seen the car yet.....

If it were me i'd avoid it!

Bit like the orange ST's, would be nice to have one, but you'd get pissed off with driving a rediculous coloured car eventually
