Default Skyline problems

Who's genned up on Skylines, it's a J reg, Rb26 engine I think(not sure), suspect it's got a cracked, head and or block.
From what I've been told it's not unusual, running around 450bhp, are they weak in this dept ?, or are there other likely reasons for oil/water mix(other than hg), got a brand new metal hg, haven't seen car yet so will be interesting.
