Depends.....

If they are new with mint tyres and the all important locks with keys....you can print your own money.

Sometimes you'll pay more for the locks than the wheels.

Not impossible no. But they don't come up very often and if they do they go for silly money.

If you had a truely mint set on mint original tyres with locks and keys, they would be worth thousands to the right person for concours, the moment they are anything other than that though, they dont seem to be worth much at all, a few hundred for a fairly good set on good (not original) tyres seems to be the going rate from what ive seen.

So how much would u say someone should have paid for a set of these then with no tyres but with the locks and keys?! and kinda in need for a refirb.........

Basically a friend of the gfs bought a set on ebay and told her they were escos wheels as my gf was interested in having them off her, obviously when she saw them knew they wernt!!! What made it worse is her friend wanted to fit them to a peugeot 206

Will leave it to her to pass the message on their just standard 3door alloys then

Sell the wheels minus the locks and keys and sell those seperately

Just spoke to the gf, her friend paid £175 for them

Plus she said only 2 of the locks work so shes gonna try spray lube them and see if that works, looks like shes been had a bit as they were advertised as genine rs500 ones aparently

if the locks arent all working, just sell them on complete, im sure she will still get her money back and maybe a bit more, they dont look bad condition.

Not sure on the condition of the others but cant see them being too good either so not worth the gf bothering with them, cant see them looking too good on a mk4 escort cab let alone the cost of re-powedercoating and diamond cutting them!!

Yea will tell her friend waht u said mate, their diamond cut but has started to corrode a bit, may look ok with a bit of a clean thou i guess.

locks and key = 20-30 quid each

i just sold a set of wheels that needed locks but had caps and had nver been refubed in their life so were rough and they went for £150

I have a very mint set for £550 which is cheap as i payed £800 for a past set.
