DS3000
Hi Rick,
Just a thought on Ds3000's. I have run them in the M3 as a daily driver and whilst they have serious bite and fade resistance they have the worst brake dust ever. I have had to have my wheels re-painted due to them. I prefer pagid yellow rs29's (iirc).
Cheers

1144's are a bit soft, I have them on my BMW where they are great for a daily driver. 3000's have a very high co of friction, they are for track pads/wheels, have others for road use.

If you are considering ds3000's then rs29's are a fair comparison. They destroy the wheels FAR FAR less and are nearly equally as effective in my experience on track/ring.

Have had all 4 discs glowing using them on the TME. Was coming down from 160 to zero on a slip road which was downhill and covered in the special grippy tarmac. Plus was running dunlop do1j tyres so had loads of grip. It was madness how well they bit even when glowing.
