my ears were a bit bothersome when i got home, splashed a it of water on them and they sorted themselves out though

and at frisbee burgers we would have made more but there wern't enough peole to eat what we'd cooked up, and steve was busy making sure that the pile of food was diminishing but i think even he felt a bit guilty for having to finish of 2 plates of burgers and suasages and bacon

but no one is going to own up to being in stand D17 then?

Fully agreed with the rest of your thoughts. Well done Central RSOC for a very good day, spent all of it chatting and catching up with EVERYONE!

Was nice to catch up with you for a chat, it's not often you get to do that at a track day as everyone is usually so busy!

And there was another fella who came over to say hello, Bodge I think he said. He was trying to light his roll up on the camp fire and nearly burnt his face off.

If there was only Fords to be allowed on the track, there might have been 20-30 cars in total. Seems a bit pointless holding such an event at a drag strip, when everyone just wants to polish their car instead of actually using them !!!

Congrats to the guy with the 4wd Mk3 Escort and the NMS Sunbeam, both put in excellent performances on the day

I personally thought it was a wicked day !! Trust I been quite a few !!

Think it cos my car wasn't there, I got the chance to chat to EVERYONE & meet a few more peeps I hadn't met !! Namely Claire, her beautiful daughter & Scott, real, real funny & down to earth peeps & helped me & Kirstie make the decision bout goin Derdy RS Show !!

Whoever's idea it was wit the name tags was spot on !!

High lights of the day was Tim's S2, Ray's Capri hittin low 10's (thanks Jay for the loan of the lid ), AJC's Escort, Maria & the nurses gang, hangin wit Doug Doug cos he jus too funny, Cabrio Boy cos he's jus the man & my pal Wesly launchin off the line in reverse !! He forgot !!

But most importantly was Kirstie runnin her Bm, she couldn't get enough of it & she made me so proud when she nailed the time she was aimin for on her very last run !!

She did real good & had a pukka time !!

So from us, it's a huge THANK YOU top the Central Group !!

Well i had a cracking day - saw plenty of familar faces, felt a bit rude having to wrap conversations up with people as others were waiting

The name badges at the Cafe lunchtime meet was a great idea

Some quick cars on the quarter as well

Didn't find Central Day to bad at all. It was lacking something....

Mostly people not supporting it. But for those that went well done.

Found out too late that the drift area was on or i would have had a car down for it
People seemed to like going out with Belinda in the skyline. And shame on those shouting at the lad in the sierra Didn't see you trying.

Although this did make the burger come back up, Beefy man

i thought it was a very good show, but some of the stands were set out badly, i saw chesire rs group trying to get about 30 cars on a stand which was probably only big enough for about 8 if spaced out nicely or 12 if parked like a carpark!
