the point i was trying to make is the same as you have made above
there should should be a standard set of rules, applicable to everyone at all times, and not judged by 3 people who "interpret" the rules and apply them as they see fit

agreed
its very frustrating tbh at the moment it looks like its not even being looked into
when kovi impeded webber a few years ago he was punished even thou webber and his team did not say anything, and in that case it did not mean anything as webber still made it into Q2 so it really did mean nothing
unlike today where kovi was on a good flying lap and the vettel block ment kovi missed out on Q3

i'll be watching it on bbc when its on, sounds like it should be a good qualifying by sounds of it.
p.s. if the race stewards feel someone deserves to be penalised....then it will happen.
*awaits the usual crap of ferrari biased and anti lewis we've heard for the last 2 years *

From what I saw, it was difficult to see if it was Vettel, and also, the RBR car was being impeded by another car, which left nowhere to go. Last 5 min's of qually was exciting. Alonso is definitly running light, which may suit a short first stint on super soft tyres. Honda's are carrying more fuel than RBR and Renault. Lewis and Kimi are heavy also, but both cars don't seem fast when a lot of fuel is onboard.

Looking at the car weights for Qualifying the top 3 positions arn't a true reading of the fastest cars, Rubens was 17kg heavier than Vettel (not having a dig as he did a great job with just 1 lap in Q3) which would give Rubens a few 10th's disadvantage. And Alonso 7kg lighter than Vettel.
If you look at the weights carefully then the Brawns are more than on par, plus will be able to go 2 or 3 extra laps, they should jump the front 3 in the 1st pit stops.
Hamilton was 35kg heavier than 1st and 42kg heavier than 2nd, so he's looking good even from 9th.
Gonna be an interesting race
1. Sebastian Vettel, Red Bull, 644kg
2. Fernando Alonso, Renault, 637
3. Mark Webber, Red Bull, 646.5
4. Rubens Barrichello, Brawn GP, 661
5. Jenson Button, Brawn GP, 659
6. Jarno Trulli, Toyota, 664.5
7. Nico Rosberg, Williams, 650.5
8. Kimi Raikkonen, Ferrari, 673.5
9. Lewis Hamilton, McLaren, 679
10. Sebastien Buemi, Toro Rosso, 673
11. Nick Heidfeld, BMW Sauber, 679
12. Heikki Kovalainen, McLaren, 697
13. Felipe Massa, Ferrari, 690
14. Kazuki Nakajima, Williams, 682.7
15. Sebastien Bourdais, Toro Rosso, 690
16. Nelson Piquet, Renault, 697.9
17. Robert Kubica, BMW Sauber, 659
18. Adrian Sutil, Force India, 648
19. Timo Glock, Toyota, 652
20. Giancarlo Fisichella, Force India, 679.5

first race i was at my dads so althou i did get up to watch it i had no internet DOH
and the second race i was doing a rally driving experiance at silverstone, managed to catch the race on 5 live thou (what there was LOL)
ive been here in spirt
thats a good point but im not sure its true, the minimum car weight is still 605kgs and i know that some of the drivers cannot run it because they weigh to much so im sure that the kers will still be inside that weight
