Default Dog people, A question!

when we go to work we leave our dog some treats to eat,

two chew things and two biscuit thingys...

now the strange bit..

when i come home, she will have eaten the chews, but not the biscuits,
she never eats the biscuits untill both me and my mre are home...

if im here on my own befrore the mrs get here she wont eat them, and vice versa,

literally as soon as the other person sets one foot in the door, she will greet them, then go and eat her biscuits on the rug.

every day every time

Why?

She's nuts.
Our dog does something similar, she probably thinks she needs your approval before she can eat the biscuits.

Our dog wont even eat any of her bonios till we come back, very strange.

We try telling her that her bonios are for while we are gone as a little treat, BUT she doesnt seem to understand or is playing ignorant......lol

Its like she sniggers at us when we leave the house, but when we come back she eats them all... WEIRDO.....

had to teach mine not to eat the food as i was scooping it out the tin..he would try to eat it before it reached his bowl!..he now goes straight to his bed and wont eat until i tell him he can have it..he even leaves his bait halfway through if i tell him..maybe your dog thinks she needs your approval before they can be eaten??

She does pick it up and move it to the rug in front of us before she eats it so perhaps she does think that she needs our approval. Interesting.

Mine does that too. I just though she kept them in case we didn't come back or something and she could eat them when she was hungry rather than just for the sake of it.

Our springer eats every treat the moment you give it to him. He waits for no one.
