Default Had a bit of a shock this morning!
Opened up a seemingly generic letter this morning, and when I did it had a cheque in there for £2498.96 addressed to me!!! seems its a life insurance policy that had matured and was giving me the cash back as it where. I knew nothing about this so asked my dad what was going on, and he said, "thats ours that Rob, we put the policy on ur name for tax reasons" woulda come in just nicelly that

Not sure but I reckon you might find its classed as taxable income, therefore you are liable to pay tax on it. Ask you old man for 25% to cover it
