Bret Hart was one of if not the best in the ring for actually not injuring his opponents. The excellence of execution for sure in my book

If it was just a shake of the hand, the only person would be someone that I truly respected for doing something amazing, like saving my life, or saving someone elses life, you know, a proper hero so to speak. If I felt that I wanted to really show my appreciation, then 6 hours isn't really much.

If it was just a sporting hero, no-one just for a sig and a handshake.

If it was to sit down with them and have a chat and get to know them a bit, then quite a few key people. I would for Mike Schumacher, I would (if he was alive) with Ayrton Senna and maybe a few other people, but NOT just for their signature. It is a very interesting question as I would have to truly respect what they had achieved and felt that it was worth my effort just to let them know that I respected them.

As for wrestling being fake etc. I am not a fan, however the film that was just released about it "the wrestler" opened my eyes to how much they could get hurt and I respect that indeed. It is not fighting it is choreographed gymnastics (or something) and that still takes massive skill.

I'm not a wrestling fan so I don't know who he is but it's cool you're happy about meeting him. I literally bumped into 'The Script' the other week and it's weird that you see these folk on TV then all of a sudden you're standing right next to them chatting.

As Steven said the film is brilliant, not what I was expecting so I don't mock wrestling like I used to.

I used to love wrestling when I was younger. My brother (JB) had the Bret "Hitman" Hart pink glasses (And he says his not camp ). I saw Davey Boy Smith (British Bulldog) in Woolworths in Croydon many, many years ago, but I think his dead now?

Bret hart lost his brother (Owen Hart) and brother in law (Davey Boy Smith) iirc.

I stopped watching it when my Mum got rid of Sky years ago and I would watch it now, but I cannot justify ŁXX.XX per month on it or Ł15.00 on the main events.

How many people here saying wrestling is for people who don't have girlfriends, etc watch a bunch of blokes kicking a ball about, groping each other when they score and go to the showers together after a match. I think its called football?

I was in the queue to meet my childhood hero Bret Hart. I was a big wrestling fan as a child and was always excited to see Bret Hart wrestle as a kid. So it was a dream since i was a child to meet him, so i went ahead and stood in the rain for 6hours to meet the person i looked up to so much growing up and fulfill my childhood dream.

The queue was to meet Bret Hart for his book release.

Forbidden Planet is a Memorabilia Store. They stock figures and what not for die hard collectors.

The Hitman was my fav wrestler, i used to have his sunglasses when i was a kid. I remember watching him fight the british bulldog at summerslam at wemberley!!

One of my friends is going to calgary next month to go to wrestling school, I think Lance Storms school who trained at "THE DUNGEON" which for those of you who are out of the loop was where bret hart trained.
