Jimbo, we have fitted tyres to alot of freshly powder coated wheels, as twellsie sais, they can be soft, just make sure your fitters are carefull, i have done onse that have come direct from the coaters before now and not marked them, but you have to be gentle with them!
i will be cleaning the escos friday, putting her back in the garage, going to see fast and furious fri night, working saturday and then she comes out sunday for the drive up to the pod she will look fine but wont be full power still
if it was me I would keep them in a nice warm room overnight, then the following day, on the back of the rim, or somewhere not visable, push your finger nail into it and see if it leaves a mark, even so, I would take them to the best tyre fitter you can find
Apex'll do Jimbob.
Dont let anyone you know take their car to Creightons (The 'bishi dealer near Porcelanosa) to have tyres done...they had to pay to refurb all 4 of my old mans wheels after they fucked them up.

the little plastic union thingie that has a hose from the plenum to the fuel pressure reg, had come loose, as soon as the turbo started to spool, it would cut the boost and back fire, it took me fooking ages to track down
