I have never really been bothered about the g/f side of things tbh as i have never been good around girls anyway fine with mates birds etc,but anything else i don't really know what to say to them but recently just been thinking it would be nice to have someone to talk too or have some company.
Think of what you'd say to your male friends.
Then remove any swear words, long words, reason or logic.
Then add in some fake emotion and something about shoes.
Job done.

Beef, PM replied dude! Any info you need phone me!
Warren, weird that! As a raving, dribbling nutcase you'd fit right in! I mean, we have ex submariners ffs!! Try changing your name to Warren Nutcase-Headbutt-The-Captain. With that surname, they'd think you were posh and probably make you Captain yourself

Ya want to get yourself a book called "The Game" by Neil Strauss and also "The Rules of the Game" by the same guy. Few of my mates at work have read these and worked on it and it is absolutly shocking how amazingly it works. My mate James goes out 2-3 times a week just to chat up birds and get their phone numbers. More of a game to him now! ha ha! I did purchase my own copy but within 3 weeks of buying it i met our lass although I did use a few tricks!
Check out Neil Strauss or Mystery Method on Youtube for info! Even if you dont get into it as a teaching aid its a really good read!

Have you tried the like's of kwik fit mate? I know its an all time low for a Vauxhall tech but they seem to be the only people in the motor trade that are actualy making decent money at present.....it may look crap on your cv but no future employer can argue that its a recession and at such time's you have to scrape the barrel to pay the bills. Ive just started back at Vauxhall after a very short stint/stop gap at kwik-fit as an mot tester and I have to say it, kwik-fit really look after their skilled staff and the pay aint bad either.

Make sure you listen to your body and especially your head. If its saying that you cant sleep and you are unhappy - do something about it. Go and see a doctor, dont get anti-depressants, they made me do stupid things, I was away with the fairies for most of the time.
Ask to be referred for counselling, it really helps to talk to someone. You can tell them anything, the fact that you have no house, no job and no gf. They can advise you on all of that. I really reccommend it. Its all confidential so you dont have to tell anyone that you are doing it.
Good luck mate. Happy to talk to you about it more if you want.
Take care x

Right. I'll try and answer as many Q's as I can think of
Pay - 18k for training. 25 when thats finished. Can go up as high as 72k for Seagoing personell, but thats captain and none of us will get there You need to be the 'right' man for the job............ ahem, mason, ahem....
You do 4 months at sea followed by 3 and a bit at home. All paid at the same rate.
Bars. Open, alot. which is nice.
You get 72 hour weekends, 4 per year, if your on a UK based ship. Half day Saturday, and sunday wherever you are. ( See above )
Meals are provided, but a bit shit these days
Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Did I mention the bars?
Now, I wonder who I see about my super huge recruitment bonus

Oh, and don't forget..... All the wage scales you're seeing have not got the RFA Allowance added to them. It's an annual allowance thats paid monthly, which is an extra bit of money to cover the danger you might get shot or blown up or something It's currently 3300 quid

I got made redundant on 31st january this year,to say i was in shock is a understatement as it the only place i have worked at(was there for 12 years)for the first month i think i was in a bit of shock, was not really sure what to do what direction to take etc!Been for a few job interviews and not really got anything from them, did not even get a post mans job .Although one job is looking a bit more promising(another vauxhall dealer)i still ain't sure until i get a deffo nod.Anyway the last 2-3 weeks and especially this week i have been feeling well down about everything can not stop thinking but yet i am not really thinking about anything if that makes sense?feeling really tired and yet can not sleep.
The last week i have just been thinking that i ain't really got much no house,no gf and no job,I have never really been bothered about the g/f side of things tbh as i have never been good around girls anyway fine with mates birds etc,but anything else i don't really know what to say to them but recently just been thinking it would be nice to have someone to talk too or have some company.
Not very good at telling people all this would never dream of talking to my mum or dad about this or my mates really even more so with girls and feelings!i find it embarrassing that i am feeling this way as there people out there with a lot more serious problems then what i have got!
Just finding it really hard to look on the bright side of life and motivate myself, never thought i would end up like this lol!
Anyhow its a lot easier i think to post this up here rather then ask someone face to face plus most people on here i am never likely to meet!
Has anyone else been like this? How you doing now?Do u look back at the time and kind of laugh at it all as it was nothing to worry about etc?

Just try to stay positive mate it will soon turn around again and sometimes the good and the bad happens in patches. Hope you get a spell of good soon, chin up.
