as some of you may know
ive recently been overhauling my old mans bike..
he was diagnosed with cancer in november last year and well his condition had deterirated alot in the last few months ,
anyway hes owned this bike for around 5 years, and its barely been used in the last 4 , just sat in the back garden basically rotting away , a couple of bad winters ate there way through the laquer on the alloy parts ect , the chrome rusted up , and the two tone paint was scratced and faded ,
it genrally looked like shit lol ,
anyway he decided about 4 weeks ago , he wanted it sorting and hes always wated a all white bike ,
so this is the end result ,
got to say a big big thanks to jacko and karl at blue oval ,
karl done all the chrome and alloy polishing , including the wheels ,
and jack painted the bodywork ( ford diamond white i may add )
bike got new tyres, brakes , fork seals ,full engine service ect ect
then all put bk together ,
just been and got it mot'd
what ya think ?

yeah im hoping hes going to muster the energy to get bk on two wheels ,
but its looking less of a possibilty , he was knackerd just walking outside for ten min to see it when i gav him it bk .
but i did it to show i havent admittred defeat on his situation , a few family members were just saying ,
"he aint ever going to ride it so whats the point ,"
because the point is if someones got a bit of fight in them anythings possible , and i aint giving up on him yet

thanks for all the comments guys ,
yeah he was chuffed to bits , i couldnt stop grinning lol ,
now hes just got to get off his ass lol ,
i dont intend to force him to ride it , his health it my main concern and well with the lack of energy and what not his reaction speeds are down,
he was thinking of selling it , or even giving it to me ,
to be honest either way , just giving him it was enough and if the money helps more with things at the moment then its all good ,
either way im glad i did it
