buying a escort cossie
due to a bad sky diving accident and having to give up the sport ,in a cast for next 8 weeks but willing to put a deposit down on correct car until i can collect as i stay in Jersey CI (originally from scotland) dont mind travelling for the right car
i need something else to take up my time got between 11k to 13.5k to buy a escort cossie or sapph 4x4
came across this , i know a bit about cars like makes n models , but not the finer things such as engine rebuilds , diffs , suspension on performance cars...
http://www.jerseymotorsport.com/foru...id=11&tid=4237
anyone know about these?
also been offered a magenta sapph 4x4 here in Jersey ,anyone know of it ,think it used to be part of th RSOC , it`s got 17" gold imolas , big brake conversion 4 pots , leather, supposedly had 400bhp+ ,polished engine bay n stuff, but has been sat up for 3-4 years this is only £3k
anyhelp info on the linked car would be great
thanx

11-13k should see you with one of the best saphs in the world mate!
but having owned one, i'd rather hold out for a nice Esc cos
have a look in the for sale list on here. few good ones about!
PS: bad sky-diving accident! surely that usually only ends one way!

Yeah I saw that too! Guy was saying his goodbye's to his family and all that, it was horrible. Not many people can jump out a plane and live. Maybe it was this guy..?

the guy that waved goodbye too his family , he was a english guy but was jumping in new zealand..not me
i had a band landing broke my tibular / fibular dislocated ankle out in spain a few weeks ago..... got a few plates screws and pins holding things together , can jump in about a years time but if i have another impact injury like it they dont think they will be able to save it ... gutted ... but hey a cossie will keep me entertained...

Sounds like your a pure adrenaline junkie!
Not sure spending your weekend in the garage fixing your car will quite fill the gap
Only joking dude, if your spending upto 13k for the right car you should get a nice one!
