A mate of mine has just bought an Evo 4 and wants to fit a de-cat pipe.

He's got the de-cat pipe and it's made by Storm. Supllied with the pipe is a little bit of wire to link the terminals for the oxygen sensor after the catalyst together.

Does this seem right? He doesn't want to fit this unless he knows it's not gonna mess about or bugger the ECU and he's had a few people refuse to fit it for him in case it does.

Any help would be appeciated!!

it dont need any thing fitting to sensor,maybe check boost and fueling after on dyno

So you reckon to just fit the pipe and just do away with the downstream oxygen sensor?

The car is going in to be mapped in the not too distant future so it will be all checked then.
