Default Scania turbos on a cossie

Right guy's have seen a few engines running scania turbo's,but i would like details of what there off 9/11/12/16ltr even better part number,think stravos might have the information i need

Didnt think you could put a diesel turbo on a petrol engine, Stavros was just a scania branded housing I think.

Not A r580/620 turbo,i know that much,the problem with scania,s turbo system is they dont use a waste gate,only on the 9ltr 5/6 cyl engines,if it was just a compressor housing does any body know how it was done

Scania turbo,s are matched to the engine there on,so no need for the waste gate,

The idea was i have acess to scania genuine turbo's,brand new,at very good price,just woundered what the script was,if not to much hassle

Look in aprils Fast Ford has one on a 3 door.........also has external wastegate

The turbo from the IVECO 190/29 has also been used, this a Magirus Deutz, air cooled engine of 17,500cc, 600 bhp 1600lbft, it uses two of these, sure they are KKK in origin, same as on a lot of diesels.

I used to have access to them at a better price than you - I worked where they were made at the Holset factory in Huddersfield - but that was about 8 years ago

There was a guy who had a laguna touring car rep in orange with a TVR V8 engine, that used the turbos off a bus i think. it was in max power years ago, and built by a bodyshop on wokingham.
