I don't mind tents at all, the only ones I can't be doing with anymore are the ones you can't stand up in..... gone are the days when I wriggle around trying to get into mi clothes....

Can we make it on Saturday July 11th and Sunday July 12th 2009 please?
(July is good cause of weather, and it doesnt clash with any of the big ford shows on that date as far as im aware )
Plus its 2 months after the May ring trip, and 2 months before the September one, so nicely slots in the middle there too
If so, Im definately up for it

Bit later would suit me personally, but ya gotta please the majority!
I'd have thought early September would have been ideal as it's after all the main shows that I know of, and should be a little quieter, but weather still good. In fact, early to mid September seems to see the best weather in this country, I can't remember it raining during that time for many a year!

I hate tents as well. I don't mind the actual being in a tent kind of thing, that's fine. Always liked the idea of camping, I just don't like the idea of all the farting and frigging about erecting the bloody things! And lugging all the ridiculous amount of gear everywhere!
I've stayed in a tent twice. Once at the 2004 Download Festival, and once for a night's "dry run" a couple of weekends beforehand. Lovely big 8-man tent with 4 of us in. Me and my other mate (who feels the same way about tents as me) left all the erecting to the other 2, who were brothers, and LOVE all that kinda stuff and are shit-hot at it, and had it up in no time. But the size and complexity of that tent meant you really had to know what you were doing to get it up.
That's why I love the look of those kennel things. All the joys of camping, but with none of the pissing about!

3 pods, each sleeping 3 people. We find 1 in each pod is usually best though, got to have loads of personal space

Palace? Mansion?
Nah, I prefer to call it my Stately Home from Home.
Although I'm upgrading shortly to this one, mainly cos rather than Pods, it has actual rooms!:
Looks like a right cartoon orgy going on here:
Although if it's an orgy you want, this one looks even better
18 people baby!!
I've got all the caravan electric cables, refigerated cool boxes and strip lights you could ever need, so no roughing it when I go camping.
Got any dates in mind yet M?

Plus car seats are pretty uncomfortable for sleeping in. I remember having to sleep in my last puma because the travelodge gave my room away despite me ringing up!!! I had to sleep with harness' on so that i could stay in a semi comfortable position as pro2000's dont recline and otherwise you fall forwards when you nod off
