Default RS1600i rocker cover fitted to XR3i engine

probably the wrong place to put this but more chance of help here maybe

i went to fit the RS rocker cover just now, but looked at where the piping is on the original one and seen its mega different for the places to fit together, is there any way to solve this or is it a basically no-go situation with this engine?

fit this:

onto here

any help would be nice on this to see how it can fit up without going through some crazy changes, if so then i'll probably leave it off and just wait get the RST engine setup in now rather than faffing about for ages with this

Just get some longer pipe to reach centre breather or cap it off

i thought it would make a difference to running if that was blocked off mate so didnt want to do so, what about the pipe on the left of the engine bay on the cvh cover on it just now? would a breather be needed there as it looks like its running to the airbox.

Just need to adapt the breather pipe and filter to suit mate! Easy job! Dont cap it off thats crazy you will increase pressure in there!

ive got one on my 3i mate, as said you just need to make one fit, but make sure you put it through a breather filter, otherwise you get a mess in your airbox.......

this is a pic i took before i redone all the pipeing, as mine never went through a breather filter originally.
ill have to get a newer pic of it.
