A quick question.....

Im trying to locate a replacement water level sensor that fits into the side of the header tank on a 3 door but am having no luck...

I have, however, found someone with a Series 1 RS Turbo water level sensor for sale....

my question therefore is is a Series 1 header tank water level sensor the same as a 3 door cossie one?

I would imagine the sensor would be the same, certainly if it looks the same it will work.
I have though seen these brand new somehwere, I will keep my eyes open, it was on the net, and post up if I refind them.

i got one for mine from paul @ north yorks

 

i got about 4-5 of them on S1 header tanks if u need one..

Yes my 4i had one, think I may even have and old one if you want, pretty sure tbh.

the ghias had them too, and ghia escorts/xr3i's

also the one in the window washer bottle is the same on the later sierra/granada/scorpio aswell but does have a different multi plug.

 

BMW E28 5 Series had the same level sensor too.
