Default bit of help, regarding hubs

i know there is a diference between 2wd and 3 door hubs , but what is it,.
I have offered up a set of wheels to my 3 door today , they came off a 500, but there id just enough room for a fag paper between the wheel and the shocker???
the wheels are flat 5 spoke MO`s 17x8 et 35???

could it be my 3 door has saff hubs , would that be it ??

3dr/rs500 use a taper nut to connect to the tca where as the saff used a pinch bolt, just check which type of tca you have fitted and that will indicate the type of hubs they are

Think there is a small camber difference and the bottom balljoint is a taper on a 3 door and a pinch bolt on the saff.

Also Clive have you got the bells/discs on? They may be thinner than cast discs. Therefore wheel will be closer to the strut.

ok , defo got 3 door hubs,, so looks like it could be the bells, may just have to use spacers, will 3mm be ok????

or it could be the offset against the width ???
