Garden / Driveway advice needed!!
Anyone out there any good with a bit of creative landscaping?!!!
Had my driveway block paved and they have just completed, now I just have to sort the bed / garden out. Not a gardener really myself so not really sure my options but want some around the edge of the drive (the curved bit) and a largish plant on the main bit of the grass. Havent a clue what plants are out there or what my options are so help is needed!!!! I have seen a nice plant called a Cordyline Sparkler, about 4foot tall which will look nice in the garden but not sure what plants to have along the edge. They are digging a 12" bed out along the edge, I just have to fill it!!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
Couple of pics near completion....
Cheers
Chris

Ooooh i like it!
Just get some hardy heathers round the edge... you can get them in a varioety of colours, and theyre quite robust, so if you do end up running over one with a wheel of a car, it wont do them much damage...
As for something in the middle, you dont want anything too big as it will block out any light into your front window.... maybe a mini blossom tree???

Cheers chaps, it looks superb in the dark with the lights on! Better than the crappy out concrete single drive that was there!!
Maria - Are hardy heathers the real name for them?!!!
