Anyone live near Alicante and have a spare car they can lend me for this weekend?? Or know of a car hire place that actually has a car to hire out??

 

When we went in the summer we used RecordGo, no problems at all - no idea if they have cars at the moment though! Car had a few scrapes etc on it when we got it, but they didn't even look at the car when we gave it back

I know, but the other half's dad lives there, we have to visit, and it's costing me absolutely nothing.

The beach isn't too shabby from memory, and I'll be thinking of exactly how much of a shithole it is when I'm sat on the beach on Tuesday, drinking a few beverages!

 

Think that's who I'm with later in the month, less than Ł50 for 5 days, cheaper than taxis to and from airport to where I'm staying.

martin i just hire them at the desk in the airport they is about 7 hire companys work from the airport last 1 i got was 140 euro for 4 days and it came with a full tank of fuel free..

Mine's 50 euros for 5 days, they pull your pants down if you just turn up and ask for one...

Thing is we have tried almost everywhere and everything is rented out.. Even a Ł1700 Merc!!! I don't want to ge there and find no cars available so the Hyundai it is!

Theres Car rentals at the airport so get one from there. I go from there to Guardama and the cab fare is 30 euros each way were as a hire car is 100 euros for the week so its really only 40 euros

They are ok martin shit to look at crap inside but they love doing burnouts in second gear and handbrake well.

i say that as the one a m8 was given as a courtasy car did the above so think it be just what you need for a gentle drive round
