TOAD Ai606 gets my vote to. Had one on our old XR2i and it never once false triggered and it kept the car where it should be. Wish I'd got round to fitting one on my FRST as the Clifford on there was shit!!!!

do car thieves these days carry diagnostic gear to reprogram ford ECU's to get past the PATS system on late fords???
Ive got 2 circuit imobilisation on mine at present plus the cossie relays rewired into same PATS immobilisation so i cant see how they can start my car without rewiring it or recoding the ECU so im kind of loathe to upgrade to a cat 2-1 upgrade system as i cant see what features it would add to my car to stop it being nicked by an opportunist. Professionals will know how to get past a clifford or ai606 anyway so that wont stop them.
Im thinking the only real thing next is tracker and something physical like snap off wheel.

My old man used to fit alarms for a living, he ended up turning people away who insisted on Clifford alarms, nothing but trouble. He always reccommened Cobra, they have plenty of features and are fairly priced.
Buts that my opinion, Clifford always seems to be peoples favourite, but i had cobra and had the all laughing and dancing one, it was wicked.
