I was having a play with my brother-in-law's today and it's an awesome phone. The sound is waaaaaaay better than on my netbook. The rest seems ok too.
I'm seriously tempted myself.

If u dont mind waiting a few months the N97 is coming out and its going to be a shit load better than the 5800!!
Had a play with one yesterday and seemed ok..........but wasnt overwealmed by it, but deff the way forward for nokia and touch screens!!!
The n97 looks similar but also has a slide out keyboad too with it and has a better camera (5mp) and seems better specced!!!
I also got the gf the new samsung Tocco S8300 and am bloody impressed with it!! which is odd as i normally hate samsung its a slide phone and touch screen!! the response is really good and the phone vibrates with each touch so u know its responded, the screen is good and its got an 8MP camera!!!
Prefer having the proper keypad for writing txts etc aswell unlike the 5800 which is all touchscreen.

PF's Guitar God!!!
I had the 5800 and returned it ASAP as it was just a N95 with a touchscreen (not that the N95 was a bad phone). However, any Nokia you will buy will not match to the iPhone.
iPhone is a AMAZING bit of kit on its own but Jailbreak the bastard and you can have applications to tell you which restaurant to eat from to when your misses is due on.
