My next door neighbour had a bet on it, she never said how much she bet but she's an old biddy so was probably about 50p.

My wife had £5 each way on it - £635 pay out thank you very much. She only picked it because it had her name (Mo) in its name.

I was at the National on Saturday & the bookies were paying out thousands for that horse. Dont think they were expecting it to come in 1st.
Not a nice sight to see one of the horses being shot thou

I work in a betting shop and there was about 15 bets on the winner out of the 1400 we took on the National... 1 person did have a tenner e/w on it though! £1270!

Think we took about 3500 bets over the whole day and i think we got about 15 or under too. So all in all, i think the bookies had a great day on Sat.. pay rise maybe
