whats good for sore thraots and flu?
proper laid up today,
thraot is mage sore, and husts to talk
whats best for flu and sore thraots as i basicly never get ill, so dont really knnow what good and whats tosh

When I had flu the other month I found that childrens calpol was the only thing that helped me! Something like 6 or 8 teaspoons if I remember but do check lol.
Lemsips didn't work at all, every flavour is foul! Yuk yuk yuk just thinking about it now makes me wanna heave!
Hangovers and flu aren't nice either pmsl!

my misses NEVER gets ill but has just caught a cold, and has been taken Lemsip Max all in one LIQUID
Says it tasts nasty but has worked a treat, got rid of her symptoms.
Great news for me, she can get my fukin tea on I am sick of making beans on toast.

by far the best to get rid of a sore throat is to garggle TCP
cheap as chips, numbs the throat and kills any infection/ bacteria
by it by the bottle, i cap full of TCP followed by 5 cap fulls of water
the only bad thing is, it tastes rank
got rid of my sore throat in 2 days, the old stuff is the best

just finding my feet
ny sister swear by robinsons orange barley water and honey served hot
im just comming back from some sort of flu i think, ive got sinus issues that i cant pop my left ear, i felt proper fucked, head rushes when i got up, coughing up loads and loads of green phlem,,,,, actually i still am tbh but im no longer coughing up blood pmsl
i wen to the doctors and told em about coughing up blood and phlem,,, they asked about the colour of the phelm,, i told em THE BLOOD WAS RED,,,she told me " thats fine, but what about the phlem,thats the important part ,,,,, WTF,,, talk about worried
anyway i got a chest infection, its not clearing the shite easy thats why i was coughing up blood due to ripping vessels in the throat
took me a week to feel better !
feel fine now ( antibiotics) but still got phlem and left ear that i cant hear proper out of :Wall:

Night nurse capsules worked a treat for me
being a big fooker i thought id take double dose
