connecting 5 wires to one original... best way?
ok got all my gauges coming off a single feed... each gauge has a +12v and +0v and the lights have one each too...
at the moment theyre all connected using spades... i'm using the spades with male AND female conenctors on the same plug... but it looks WAY too messy 5 wires all connected together and with a huge clump of tape wrapped around them (so they cant short out on anything)
any better ideas?
i do not want to solder, as i want the connections removeable so they can be plugged in/unplugged at will...

Do you want to be able to plug/unplug the whole panel, or one at once?
XLR connectors ain't bad as they are lockable and insulated, or nick appropriate male and female halves of connectors from car wiring looms in the scrappy and splice in

this is my method the two gauges are volts and oil pressure, the 3 pins plug directly into the clock loom socket giving me lights, earth and 12v on the igition switch which also doubles to power the gauges, the oil sender wire is the wire bundle and is routed off into the the engine bay.i have a tripple set up to do aswell but will use the same method

is series ok to do tho?
velocity, that looks very tidy
only problem is like i said, i want each gauge seperate so i can remove them individually...
soon i'll have em all wired together, but for now the install isn't finished, so wanna make it as easy to change about as possible

As Above, daisy chain em, connect em together using bullets for the time being, but obviously use the female connector on the live end (supply) so if the gauges are out, the wire wont short...

no u nonce do i need to do u a diagram lol
positive to positive, negative to negative, then u will b eleft with 2 wires, one positive, one negative, but they will have the pos and neg off the guage beside it too, so these need to be earthed and connected to your positive feed!

Testing the future
do not connect tem in sereis, you will share the voltage. connect them in paralel.
that means that you wire all positives to the same place, and all negatives to the same place. negative to positive as you're thinking is in series and is completely wrong.
