Default which car would u rather keep out of these two!

ive got a mint s2 escort rs turbo(in my sig)42k miles from new.
we are gettin married in august and my father in law has given us his subaru legacy gtb e-tune twin turbo estate w reg,to sell and wotever we make on it can go towards the wedding.he smashed the car up two years ago but was only a cat d ,and doesnt look like it needs much.had a brand spankin new engine 3 months before crash aswell.
its a rare manual model in black with 280bhp.
i never really use my s2 cos its too difficult with 3 kids,so we use the missus passat 1.8t.
should i just sell the scooby on and put money towards our 2grand catering wedding bill or sell my s2 for as much as possible, put 2 grand towards wedding and the rest towards repairing the scooby and keep that, then sell the passat and have one big fast family wagon lol.

really dunno wot to do.i love my s2 but i hate not driving it but i just never get the chance.
what are your thoughts.all opinions welcome.
thanks,

so either keep s2 and passat,
or sell both and keep scooby?

well your not going to drive quick when you got the kids in the car anyway, and the scooby will be just worth peanuts in a few years so i would keep the s2 and her car, use the s2 to get some time, time on your own

yeah the thing that puts me off scooby is petrol consumption aswell.and as said it will be worthless in two years, and in theory mine should raise in value on that mileage.
i also beat this scooby in my old rst cabriolet.that only had 186bhp and i nailed him up the quater mile when he had it on the road lol

Are your family safe in a written off car? What if a wheel falls off lol! So yeah keep the S2. No don't keep it, sell the Passat and RS and keep the new-engine'd Subaru.

So yeah heart says keep RS, mind says flog it.

You answered your own question there...... you will regret selling it, especially when you see it again a year or two down the line and some chav's bashed it and run it into the ground. There's never a more gutting feeling than that, believe me.

Keep the S2. Mate of mine has a Legacy twin Turbo manual. It's been in his garage for the last 2 years after the engine ate itself. BIG bill to repair that one

My mates was on a V plate so probably the same type of car. It was the Ł3k quote to rectify the damage that has meant it's just sat in the garage. Since breaking it he's had an Audi A6 2.8 and now has a Citroen C4 kiddie wagon. He says he just can't justify the outlay. He keeps asking me to give him a hand to rebuild it which I have to be honest I don't fancy. Let's face it the old Boxxer engine isn't exactly a CVH is it

S2 - clear on HPI, low miles proper car, worth decent money.

Legacy will get used as an everyday car and is on the hit list so worth 'not alot'.

Sell the Legacy, keep the S2.
