My bro's been having some probs with his FRST for a few weeks and according to the fault finder gizmo the EDIS unit is fubar.

The number on the part is 91AB-12K072-AA

Is this component the same as on the XR2i? How much is a replacement likely to cost? And are there any pitfalls to buying one second hand?

yes it is the same as an XR2i one

at least if its OFAC it is

if he runs OFAB he is in trouble as they are hard to come by and if ford can get them over Ł200
